Frequently Asked Questions

What programs does Al Kuttab Academy offer?

Al Kuttab Academy offers flexible online Quran memorization programs through both one-on-one sessions and group classes, allowing each student or parent to choose the option that best fits their goals, schedule, and learning needs.

Are the classes individual or group-based?

We offer more than one learning format at Al Kuttab Academy, including private sessions and group classes, so that each student or parent can select the most suitable option based on their goals, availability, and preferred level of follow-up.

Is Quran memorization taught with proper Tajweed?

Yes, Quran memorization at Al Kuttab Academy is taught with proper Tajweed, along with recitation and pronunciation correction during the session, so students build their memorization on a correct and strong foundation from the beginning.

Is there ongoing follow-up for memorization and revision?

Yes, we place strong emphasis on following up on new memorization while continuously revising previous portions, because lasting memorization depends not only on learning new verses, but also on structured and consistent review.

What is the Five Fortresses method?

The Five Fortresses method is a memorization approach designed to strengthen retention and reduce forgetting. It combines several elements within the same session, including preparation for new memorization, review of old memorization, and review of recently memorized parts, so the student remains connected to both past and current progress.

How is the Five Fortresses method applied during the session?

We apply the Five Fortresses method practically during the class by combining old memorization, recent memorization, and new memorization within the same session, while the teacher listens, corrects, and follows up on Tajweed and pronunciation. This helps students make steady progress while keeping memorization strong and stable.

Is there new memorization in every session?

Yes, insha’Allah, students work on new memorization in each session, while taking into account their current level and ability to absorb new material, with a balanced focus on revision and retention so that quality is never sacrificed for speed.

Do you offer flexible schedules?

Yes, we offer flexible scheduling whenever possible to suit the needs of students and parents, and we do our best to arrange suitable times that support consistency and long-term commitment.

Do you have certified female teachers from Al-Azhar?

Yes, the academy includes certified female teachers from Al-Azhar, with clear attention to accurate recitation, proper Tajweed, and sound memorization.

Do you offer a separate Tajweed-only program?

Yes, the academy does not focus on memorization alone. We also offer dedicated Tajweed courses for students who wish to study Tajweed rules and details separately from the memorization track.

Can I join a Tajweed course without enrolling in memorization?

Yes, students may join Tajweed courses independently without enrolling in a memorization program, which is ideal for those who want to improve recitation and gain a deeper understanding of Tajweed rules.
